Lifestyle of the worshippers

“But the time is coming—indeed it’s here nowwhen true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” John‬ ‭4:23-24‬ ‭NLT‬‬

True and Authentic Worship

I love worship, through worship an atmosphere is created whereby our spirit can pour out on God. I know that my worship may never be enough for the most holy and amazing God but I believe that it’s what he requires of us, and because he requires it, my desire is to live a life that is set apart for him; nothing should hamper our worship, or make it vain. Authentic Worship is revealed and birthed in us when we are willing to be all in for God, available vessels of honor.

Lifestyle Worship

We often hear the phrase, “worship is a lifestyle” so much so that it has become a cliche, nevertheless I want to hold strong to these type of cliche they are essential for life. Worship allows us to live connected to God daily. I am not talking about just singing worship songs here but living a life that is set apart for God. Living from the purity that is in Jesus Christ, willing to lay aside every weight and sin that so easily trip us up. Sometimes in our own selfish desires we tamper with that atmosphere of worship but as Israel camped around the presence of God we have the better covenant, where we can live in his presence and learn of him and from him daily.

I don’t desire to live a disconnected life and it’s my prayer that this is your hearts desire too. In the teachings of Jesus on the kingdom, he mentioned that the branch (we) can’t bear fruit without abiding in the vine (Jesus). This I take very seriously as I am the type of gal that want to always bear fruit, I want to prosper and be in good health and if this requires that I live a life of worship, separated unto God, like Daniel, I will distinguish myself and not partake of the Kings meat. Don’t get me wrong, our desire to be true worshippers should not stem from wanting the benefits of the kingdom only but from zeal for the house of God.

Let’s worship daily. Thanks for reading.
